US58745 - Nearly every example of this date in Proof I’ve seen is heavily toned and lacks any real and honest eye appeal. This specimen offers deeply
reflective fields under very nicely frosted devices and, while not white, exhibits a very attractive pale gold patina. This coin is still in the old green
tag holder and I’m quite confident it would achieve the Cameo designation if resubmitted since PCGS was not recognizing this at the time of grading.
However, our preference is to maintain the green tag holder so we’ve elected not to resubmit the coin. CAC Verified. From the Homewood Collection.
