NEW BOOKS

Make sure to check out our newly expanded HJB booklist! We've added many titles to the original list, some very obscure titles, as well as popular titles. Harlan J. Berk Ltd. does not consider themselves a book dealer, however, we have so many duplicate copies that making them available to our customers is the perfect solution. If you see the book cheaper somewhere else than please bring it to our attention. We would be happy to meet any lower price on a book. Our pricing is based on current market value of the publication.

Of particular interest are the many Numismatic Chronicles (NC), ANS Museum Notes & Monographs and American Journal of Numismatics (AJN) publications. We also have many singular copies of highly utilized reference books, as well as general books on the study of Numismatics.

Finally, we have five books that are heavily discounted due to the extensive quantities we have. These titles are Wealth of the Ancient World, which highlights the wonderful Hunt Collection from the Kimbell Art Museum in Houston, Texas down to $15 from $35. Amphipolis, The Civic Coinage in Silver and Gold by Catharine Lorber. A wonderful hardcover book that references this interesting array of coinage, down from $30 from $65. Men of Rome: The John Whitney Walter Collection, a catalog of the public auction held by Stacks in cooperation with Harlan J. Berk Ltd. in 1990. This amazing catalog contains an amazing collection of Roman denarii and aurei. The catalog is only $5 down from $20. Also available is Glass of the Caesars which is a 313 page soft bound book that highlights an exhibition of Roman glass from The Corning Museum of Glass, British Museum and the Romisch-Germanisches Museum of Cologne. This wonderful publication is $15 down from $25. Finally, the highly anticipated 5th edition of David Hendin's Guide to Biblical Coins is due out late summer/early fall. For newer collectors that don't want to spend the money on this more expensive new edition, we have the 3rd edition on special. This edition, although older, is still a wonderful book and has the same numbering system of the 4th edition. We are making a major cut on price for this book at $10 down from $30.

All our books can be viewed and purchased at our site at www.harlanjberk.com. There is also a virtual catalog (also found on the book page on our website), although you will be unable to buy directly from the virtual catalog. We also welcome your phone calls and are happy to assist you on any other titles that you have interest in but do not see on our list.

Finally we should note that we have thousands of catalogs from all major numismatic firms for sale. If you have interest please give us a call and we can help you further. These catalogs sell between $5-$10 a piece.
