Buy or Bid Sale
  • Customers may purchase an item at the buy price at any time during the sale.
  • Clients who do not wish to pay the buy price may also bid lower on any item.
  • At the end of the sale the coins which have not sold will be sold to the highest accepted bid.
  • Approximately 2-3 weeks before the closing date bids will be reviewed.
  • 10% increments will be added to accepted bids. 
  • Reserves will be set at this time on items with no bids or unacceptable bids.
  • For results during the sale, bidders may log into 'MYHJB' and click 'MY BUY OR BID SALE' using their user name and password registered with the site.
  • The 'Next Acceptable Bid' posted on the image page will show the most current bid levels.
  • Proxy bidding is not accepted in this auction.
  • All items are guaranteed genuine.
  • Title of the coin or antiquity will not pass until payment in full is received.
  • All items are priced in U.S. dollars and are subject to prior sale.

 

  • We accept VISA, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express credit cards.  We also accept checks of all types in US dollars.
  • For Bank Wire Transfers:  Please contact our offices for our bank wire information.
  • Return Policy: At Harlan J. Berk, Ltd., we want our clients to be happy with their purchases, as it is our philosophy to work with our clients to build their collections. If for any reason you are not satisfied with any item, please contact our offices as soon as you decide to return it to let us know that the item is coming back. We require clients to make their decisions quickly, however, and we provide a window of no more than 7 days from the date of receiving the item or items. Clients are responsible for the shipping fees, and are responsible for insuring the item or items for their invoiced price. Refunds will be made upon arrival of those returns in the form by which the original payment was received, or the funds may be left on credit towards future purchases. Free shipping up to the previous order’s shipping fees will be given as a courtesy on the following order for which credits are left with us. Please note that even though we do not charge clients a charge for using credit cards on purchases, we will not absorb those same charges if an item is returned.
  • Shipping Charges - All coins are shipped by registered and insured mail service, Federal Express, or Express Mail.  Antiquities are general sent by UPS  within the United States and international mail service for overseas packages.

    Antiquities - Shipping charges for antiquities vary on each item.  We will contact you with your final total.
