Magna Graecia Terracotta Votive Kore ca. late 6th Century BC. A rare representation of a Kore (young maiden) who stands in a nitch. She wears a peplos and is crowned with a polos. The figure well rendered with recognizable facial features. Firing crack below the face. Tip of the nose is missing. Reddish-orange terracotta. Mounted. Ex Harlan J.
