Greek Bronze Apollo Figure Late Archaic Period, ca. 500 BC. The youthful god with long slender body, here represented beardless and robed, now missing the attributes he likely originally held. He stands with his weight on his right leg, the lower left leg now missing, the position of the drapery implying it was relaxed and bent at the knee. H. 6 1/8" W. 2 1/8" (15.6 cm x 5.4 cm).
