Roman Terracotta Oil Lamp ca. 100-300 AD. Discus marked off from shoulder with radiating strokes. Solid ribbed handle, round tipped nozzle set off with two semi-circles at junction. On the discus, Adonis fighting a sow under an anemone flower, he dies and is resurrected by his lover, Aphrodite. Footed underside with a series of lines radiating from the center.
