Northeastern Thailand Ban Chiang Vessel ca. second half of the 1st millennium BC. This very ancient buff Thai vessel has a small, thick lipped bowl atop a relatively long stem and wide foot, with the famous orange concentric swirling pattern in registers along the foot and bowl. Intact with minor chips. H. 8 1/8".
