Persian Nishapur Blue Glazed Oil Lamp ca. 1200 AD. This elegant Persian lamp has a pinched oil basin suspended on a long neck with attached bowl-like foot and handle. A wonderful piece of Islamic glazed ceramic in a rare color. Restorations to lip and handle. Slight iridescence in the bowl. Ex Harlan J. Berk, Ltd. BBS 171, 27 October 2010, lot 602.
