Russian Pair of Ancient Bronze Ring Money ca. 300 BC. Each bronze ring is formed from a tube of bronze turned into a circle, a small space between two termini. Such pieces served as a medium of exchange in Bronze Age Russian cultures, probably deriving from the value of the rare commodity bronze. The pieces are in excellent condition with an olive and light green patina. Ex Donald Schroth collection, assembled 1950's to early 1960's. Diameter 4" (10 cm).
