Byzantine Glazed Bowl ca. 7th to 12th Century AD. A larger tan glazed basin with slightly flared shoulder. The basin painted with six thick bands radiating from the center- three black and three green. Areas of loss to the glaze. Small foot on underside. W. 10 1/2" H. 3 3/8" (26.7 cm x 8.5 cm).
