Orloff did book illustrations, as in this 1957 edition of a 1953 elementary school reader, Finding Favorites, from Lippincott. A sense of fun and whimsy permeate the book. Orloff's distinctive noses, for instance, indicate he may have used himself or family members as his models.(Source: Illustration Station).
