Hill, P.V. and Kent, J.P.C. and Carson, R.A.G. all of the British Museum, Late Roman Bronze Coinage, Spink & Son Ltd., London, 1960
Part I: The bronze coinage of the house of Constantine A.D. 324-246. Part II: Bronze Roman imperial coinage of the later empire A.D. 346-498. This work is a compilation of lists that occurred in the Numismatic Circular between 1956 and 1959. The period covered begins with Constantine's victory over the Licinii in 324 and ends with the reform of bronze coinage by Anastasius in 498. This book is a early precursor to some of the more detailed works done by Grierson of the Dumbarton Oaks Collection in 1965 and David Sear's book on Byzantine coinage in 1974. It is still considered a standard reference for late Roman bronze coins. Excellent condition, some scruff marks on cover.
