From the preface: "This volume describes the collection of Indo-Greek coins in the Lahore Museum, Panjab, India...The coins in the Lahore Museum were contained in two separate collections. One was the Government Collection proper, and the other was the cabinet of Mr. C. J. Rodgers, a well known figure in Indian Numismatics, a collection which was purchased by the Panjab Government". Book shows wear commensurate with age and use: Pages off-white; ink inscription on first blank page (old inscription as it has, over time, shadowed onto the title page behind); pencil marks on interior front cover; annotations in pent to back blank pages (notes re: Greek alphabet on coins).
