An examination of various known (at the time) Roman coins with ties to Britain by John Yonge Akerman. The first edition work is in acceptable condition; there is spotting and darkening to the front and back covers as well as wear to the edges; the title paper covering the spine is present but detaching significantly (the pages themselves remain tightly bound and seen unaffected); writing (E. B. Price??) on inside blank page as well as numbers in blue marker; script and date on top right of title page (8 April 1853); pages in overall good condition with yellowing/browning but still off-white and show little sign of foxing or tears. 168 pages; six plate pages with 55 coins.
