Rx: CAES ANTIOCH COL Emperor on horse leaping r., about to hurl spear at lion below horse; the lion leaps left, and already has a second spear lodged in breast; before lion, letters S R. Rare type: Krzyzanowska records only 14 specimens, from one obverse and three reverse dies. Dark patina with areas of chalky white. Pretty reverse type with Gordian on horseback spearing a lion. aVF
